Greenwater Sno-park work project coming soon! We need your help! Sept 17-19 In a coordinated effort between the US Forest Service, Washington State Snowmobile Association (WSSA), Sno-Jammers Snowmobile club, R&R Grooming, Dan Johnson (Jet Chevrolet) and many volunteers, we are installing a new winter time snowmobile only access gate at the upper gravel pit snopark parking lot about 3 miles up from the Pyramid creek sno-park on the FS road 70 outside of Greenwater. This will allow us to park at the upper gravel pit and keep the bottom gate open when the snow level is up high so we don't have to ride our sleds on 3 miles of dirt!. We also are making some improvements to the upper gravel pit snopark to improve parking capacity. In addition; we are making improvements to the maintenance trail access to the Government meadows cabin so we can regularly have a sanitation pump truck pump the bathroom adjacent to the cabin. We will be starting the project on Friday Sept 17 and working throughout the weekend and need all the help we can get. We need welders, heavy equipment operators, drivers, and laborers. Please contact Glenn Markovits with questions, or to donate your time and or resources. 253-297-1774 gmarkovits@gmail.com We understand not everyone has the time or resources to help on a weekend project, therefore we are kindly asking for a monetary donations to help fund these projects to make the snowmobiling experience better in the Greenwater area.
