Hello Sno-Jammers,

If you want to avoid the mountain passes and cayuse at the major snoparks this weekend; we are holding a great fun family ride event away from the mayhem of the mountain passes and congested snoparks!

This Sunday Feb 28th the Sno-Jammers will be doing a joint club ride with the Junco snowmobile club and everyone is welcomed to attend.
Location: Orr Creek snopark on FS road 5603 about 26 miles south of Randle.   google map location of orr creek snopark

Please note:
You must access the snopark south out of Randle WA.
turn south in Randle on SR 131 and then stay left at the "Y" on the Cispus road / FS 23 road. keep heading southeast for several miles and stay left on the FS 23 road. after several more miles, stay left at FS road 21, then stay right at FS 56 road near Adam's fork campground. follow that road to the 5603 and turn right into the snopark.

Here is a link to the WA state parks snopark page that will provide more information. (scroll down and click Orr Creek) https://parks.state.wa.us/306/South-Cascades.

Time: Ride starts at 10am. Please make sure you are ready to ride BY 10am. We will begin with a quick safety meeting and then hit the trails!

REQUIRED equipment: 2 way radio for communication.
Recommended equipment: Beacon, Probes, and Shovel. This will be a beginner level ride and we will primarily be riding trails so we understand that not everyone may have Avalanche equipment. However, we HIGHLY recommend everyone carry the basic avy gear every time you ride (especially if you have it), regardless of skill level.
Please pack a sack lunch and plenty of fluids to keep you hydrated. Please have your sleds topped off with fuel and oil prior to the start time. The Junco Snowmobile Club will be providing chili and hot dogs upon our return. Thanks Junco's!
You do not have to be a paid member of either club to attend this ride. However, we hope you enjoy the day and consider becoming a member to one or both clubs afterwards 😊

PANDEMIC PROTOCOL:
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we must follow State/County/Federal guidelines and restrictions at the time of the ride. Masks are required due to being on federal land.
The health and safety of those participating in our rides is our top priority. Please practice social distancing when not actively riding your snowmobile. "Gathering" will be discouraged. We ask that if you are experiencing any COVID related symptoms prior to this ride that you stay home and consider joining us on the next ride.

We really hope to see everyone this Sunday on the snow!
